Qfor-certifed

The Qfor is a Belgian quality label for training and consultancy organisations.

It confirms that a service provider meets a number of criteria relating to quality of service and customer satisfaction.

In practical terms, Qfor certification means, among other things, that the organisation:

  • applies structured quality procedures;
  • places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction;
  • is audited by an independent organisation;
  • is committed to continuous improvement.
Alimento

Alimento is the training partner of the Belgian food industry. Companies covered by Joint Committees 118 or 220 may, under certain conditions, receive financial support for their training.

SMEs in the food sector may also, if they meet the eligibility conditions, receive financial support through Chèques-Formation (Wallonia) or through the KMO-Portefeuille (Flanders).
This support is cumulable with the schemes offered by Alimento.

VDC Languages has been recognised by the Walloon Region since 2009 and accepts Chèques-Formation. The Chèque-Formation is a financial support scheme designed to support continuing training for employees. Introduced by the Walloon Region, it applies to one hour of training per employee.
Valid for 1 year, it costs €15 and has a face value of €30.

Eligibility conditions
Your company must, among other things, meet the following conditions:

  • Have its main place of business in the French-speaking part of the Walloon Region.
  • Employ a maximum of 250 employees (full-time equivalents), or be self-employed as your main occupation.
  • Have an annual turnover not exceeding €50 million or a balance-sheet total of less than €43 million.
  • Be a financially autonomous company.

A simple and flexible system
The system is fully digitalised, allowing you to manage your application and your Chèques-Formation portfolio easily and quickly online.
Chèques-Formation subsidies can be combined with those from Alimento

The SME e-wallet (kmo-portefeuille) is a subsidy scheme of the Flemish Government that supports SMEs and self-employed professionals in financing training and, in certain cases, consultancy services provided by recognised service providers.

In practice:

  • Small businesses can receive a 30% contribution.
  • Medium-sized businesses can receive a 20% contribution.
  • The maximum amount of support is €7,500 per year.
